Vasi's International Gymnastics was originally established in January 2007 in Newtown, CT.

Vasile Cioana is originally from Romania and has been doing gymnastics since the age of 5. He was on the Romanian National Team from 1990-1999 when he came to the United States. After working for a couple different gymnastics schools in New York and CT, he decided it was time to open his own school.

Trisha Waller is from Newtown, CT. Her background is in dance. Performing ballet, tap, jazz, and competitive Irish throughout her childhood and young adulthood was her passion. As a teenager and young adult she also found a love for teaching dance as well. With a love for children and experience running business offices this venture was a natural next step.

Co-owners, Vasi and Trisha combined their talents to bring Newtown and the surrounding areas one of the best gymnastics facilities in the State of CT from 2007-2022.

They have now relocated to Salisbury, North Carolina to continue providing high caliber gymnastics instruction to children of all abilites.
